Denys Drozdyuk started dancing at the age of 4 in Ukraine. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the world famous Juilliard School in New York which he attended on a full scholarship and a Master of Arts Degree in Dance Education from New York University.
Some of Denys’ additional achievements include: a 3-Time World 10-Dance Junior and Youth Champion; 2010 winner of So You Think You Can Dance Canada; 7-Time German National Junior and Youth Champion and 3-Time Canadian National Junior Champion
Denys and Antonina Skobina have been dancing together since 2006. They are 2-Time US National Amateur Latin Champions as well as the winners of all major ballroom dance competitions in United States. They are the first ever American couple to win the Blackpool Amateur Rising Stars Latin Championship in Blackpool, England, which is the most prestigious ballroom dance competition in the world.
Some of their Competition Achievements include: 2-Time US National Amateur Latin Champions; Blackpool Amateur Rising Stars Latin Champions; Ohio Star Ball Amateur Latin Champions; Manhattan Dancesport Amateur Latin Champions; Millenium Dancesport Amateur Latin Champions; International Dance Masters Amateur Latin Winners; La Classique du Quebec Amateur Rising Stars Latin Winners; and Asian Cup Amateur Latin Winners.
Apart from competing, Denys and Antonina perform at Galas, Shows, and Theatre productions all over the world. They have toured nationally as featured Artists with the Ballroom Production of Dancing Pros Live as well as with a Ballroom Theatre production of They Called it Rock. Denys and Antonina have dedicated their lives to dance and hope that their art will inspire audiences everywhere.
